The British School Istanbul

The British School Istanbul has been providing high-quality education for almost 40 years. The organisation has been under its current ownership since 2000 and operates as an educational group encompassing both international and Turkish national schools.

The British International School Istanbul (BISI)

The British International School Istanbul is part of The British School Istanbul group and delivers a British-based international education for students aged 2½ to 18.

BISI operates across two campuses. The STEAM Campus in Etiler serves Early Years and Primary students, while the Forest Campus in Zekeriyaköy caters for students from Early Years through to Sixth Form. In response to growing enrolment, the purpose-built Forest Campus was established ten years ago and continues to support the school’s academic and co-curricular programmes through its extensive facilities and learning environments.

BIS Schools (Turkish Schools)

BIS Schools are Turkish national schools operating under The British School Istanbul. Established in 2017, BIS Schools provide education for students aged 3 to 18 in accordance with the Turkish national curriculum and operate across three campuses in Istanbul: Zekeriyaköy, Bahçeşehir and Çamlıca.

While firmly grounded in the requirements of the Turkish education system, BIS Schools offer an international outlook inspired by the values, experience and educational standards of The British School Istanbul. The schools are designed for families seeking a strong national education complemented by global perspectives, modern teaching approaches and a holistic view of student development.
